The Training Hub has developed induction resources for anyone entering the Primary Care workforce.
Each module takes you through a brief presentation covering a specific topic. There is also an accompanying handbook. There is a feedback form at the end of each module. Please complete this when you have finished your module(s). This helps us to monitor the program to ensure it is as efficient and accurate as possible.
⚠️ Please note: The NHS is currently undergoing significant structural change. In March 2025, the government announced plans to abolish NHS England and merge its functions into the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) by March 2027. In addition, the number of Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) is being reduced through mergers.
As a result, some of the information included in this induction may not fully reflect the most up-to-date structures and arrangements, and content is being reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis. The information presented reflects the current position at the time of development. Your local team will be able to advise on how these changes apply within your area.
