Who is it for?
- You’ll be a qualified nurse who is new to General Practice or has been employed there for less than a year
- Or you’ll be a registered nursing associate working in General Practice with a suitable mentor in that practice
- Can be undertaken at either Level 6 or Level 7 to suit your development needs

- The principles of safe clinical assessment
- Minor illness
- Managing long-term conditions
- Wound care
- Sexual health – cytology screening training
- Immunisation and vaccination
- Mental health awareness, including dementia care

Delivery
The programme is delivered once weekly on a Tuesday, through a blend of 5x face-to face and 7x virtual teaching days.
