EOIs now open – Postgraduate Periodontology Training

SNEE ICB are offering potential support for Postgraduate Periodontology Training to dental team members working within the NHS in our region.  This support has significant financial and professional value.  However, timescales are short so if this offer may be suitable for you, please express your interest now.  DEADLINE for EOI is 21 October 2025

🎓 Courses Offered

• MSc Periodontology (Dentists) – £17,000/year
• MSc Advanced Periodontal Practice (Hygienists/Therapists) – £15,000/year
• • 3-year programme with exit points:
  • Year 1: PG Certificate
  • Year 2: PG Diploma
  • Year 3: MSc

💷 Funding Support

• ICB will fund 50% of course fees:
  • £8,500/year (Dentists)
• Clinician funds the remaining 50%
  • £7,500/year (DCPs)

✅ Eligibility

• 50% NHS commitment in past 12 months
• 3,000 UDAs (or equivalent for DCPs)

🦷 Service Delivery Commitment

• Year 1: 10 complex periodontal NHS cases
• Years 2 & 3: 15 cases/year
