About this event
This session has been organised by SNEE ICB Suffolk Medicines Optimisation Team, and is aimed at Practice Nurses actively undertaking wound care within Primary Care in Suffolk and North East Essex.
The aim of the session will be to introduce learners to concept of Antimicrobial Stewardship and raise awareness of the impact of antimicrobial use in managing wounds within primary care. As part of this session the learner will gain knowledge on identifying the stages of wound infection and how to manage those stages appropriately.
Product demonstrations relating to local formulary will be available on the day.
