NASP Webinar: Improving access to social prescribing through care navigation and online consultations
A report by Citizens Advice suggested that almost a fifth of GP appointment time is used for primarily social care rather than medical problems. Social prescribing helps reduce pressure on health and care services by supporting access to community based non-clinical services. However, many of these patients need to see a GP first. This webinar will explore different approaches to improve access to additional roles through care navigation and online consultations. We will explore how these principles could be adapted for future use in general practice to improve access to additional roles, such as social prescribing link workers.
