Face to face level 3 training from the SNEE ICB Safeguarding team

Face to face level 3 training from the SNEE ICB Safeguarding team

The ICB safeguarding team offer a 2 hour joint adult and children’s local update via Microsoft teams which you are expected to complete at least every 3 years once you have completed your level 3 e learning package.  These will give you an overview of current local statistics, a refresher on the types of abuse and neglect and will be an opportunity to hear about local issues currently in Suffolk and any learning from local case reviews.  We go through the MASH referral process and answer any questions you may have.

Dates for these sessions and booking details will be advertised in the ICB safeguarding monthly bulletin which is sent to all surgeries.

There must be a blended approach to Safeguarding training, everyone in primary care should complete some training every year to ensure they reach their total required hours over the 3 year period and their skills are not lost.  Both the CQC and us as a team advise you complete learning logs to evidence the different approaches to your own learning, from attending training, discussing cases in your practice meetings and reading research amongst other things.

If you have any questions about safeguarding training please ask your safeguarding lead or do get in touch with us [email protected]
