• An approach to fever in kids Cough in children – bronchiolitis, croup and viral wheeze
• Breathlessness – acute asthma and COPD exacerbation
• Ear issues – otitis media and externa; sudden hearing loss Sore throats
• Back pain – cauda equina syndrome and spinal cord compression
• Pain when walking – limp in children; gout; cellulitis
• Belly pain – ectopic pregnancy; acute scrotal pain; pelvic inflammatory disease
• Pain when peeing – all things UTI
• Eye issues – conjunctivitis; giant cell arteritis
• Rashes – chicken pox and shingles PEP
• Anaphylaxis and BLS update Venous thromboembolism (DVT & PE)
• Delirium
• Bites
• Fits and funny turns in children
• Diagnosis of diabetes in children
• Bacterial meningitis and meningococcal disease
• Dermatology with ‘Spot the Rash’.
