EDDN Training – Applications open for October 2026 cohort

The Suffolk & North East Essex Training Hub has secured funding to support Extended Duties Dental Nurse Training.

Spaces will be allocated after/if this funding request has been approved by the ICB.

Candidates are required to pay a deposit of £150 to register for their place on the course. The deposit secures a place on the course and demonstrates commitment to completing the training. It is not a tuition fee and is held separately from course funding provided by the ICB. This deposit is refundable at the end of the course. You can email [email protected] for further information.

The course is open to GDC-registered dental nurses with a minimum of one year of clinical experience. Applicants must have the support of a clinical mentor within their practice.

*Please be aware that the number of places the Training Hub can fund is limited, see eligibility criteria and process below

• must be a member of staff providing NHS services in Norfolk, Suffolk or North Essex
• must have the approval of your employer
• must complete the EOI and have confirmation of funding before applying to the course. We cannot guarantee funding without an EOI.
