Post Graduate Diploma in Dermatology

The Suffolk and North East Essex Training Hub has secured funding for a limited number of places on the iheed / RCPI online dermatology PgDip programme to support general practice in SNEE.

This course is the perfect dermatology programme for healthcare professionals and GPs seeking to develop a special interest in dermatology and enhance their primary care clinical skills. This is a 9-month online learning programme and is specifically designed to give healthcare professionals a deeper understanding of dermatological conditions, with a focus on diagnosing and managing common skin diseases.

This course is suitable for GPs/GP Trainees, as well as Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Physician Associates/Assistants.

For this program, you need to study for roughly 4-5 hours every week. The majority of the course content is available on-demand which means students can log on whenever it suits them. There is also a live tutorial for one hour each week. It is not mandatory to attend the live session. Students can watch the recording in their own time if they can’t make the live session. The times for the tutorials are below and you can choose the one you prefer when registration for the course takes place.

  • Wednesdays 19:00 and 20:00
  • Thursdays 11:00 and 20:00
